About the Role
Join Primark in Galway as a Team Manager on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves actively leading a dedicated team to ensure excellent customer experiences and efficient store operations. You will be entrusted with ownership and accountability in shaping your department and supporting your team's success within a collaborative management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with fellow managers to oversee the store's daily operations effectively.
- Manage a specific section or department, handling commercial planning, inventory control, merchandising, and sales enhancement.
- Supervise till areas or fitting rooms when necessary.
- Assign daily tasks to your team of Retail Assistants, fostering motivation and teamwork.
- Coach and encourage your team to deliver outstanding customer service and optimize sales performance.
- Engage in personal development opportunities through digital learning and career progression pathways.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in leadership roles with strong coaching abilities to influence and engage the team effectively while prioritizing the customer experience.
- Ability to drive business results through commercial insight and talent growth.
- Commitment to building positive employee relationships that support culture and well-being.
- Strong organizational capabilities and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary is €47,375 annually. The work schedule is 5 days per week out of 7. Benefits include 23 days of annual leave, pension contributions, colleague discounts, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, and access to an employee assistance program.
