Job description
Role Overview
As a Team Manager within Woolworths Group's Proactive Services, you will be a proactive leader responsible for overseeing teams ensuring store trolleys are always available and stores remain hygienic and tidy. Your role directly impacts the customer and employee environment by maintaining cleanliness and order across multiple store locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership by actively working with your team across different store locations to inspire and motivate high performance.
- Collaborate closely with store teams to deliver exceptional customer service and seamless support.
- Develop and manage team rosters covering various shifts including early mornings, days, late nights, and weekends ensuring full operational coverage.
- Lead, mentor, and enhance the capabilities of your team involved in cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management.
- Coordinate with Store Leadership to identify operational challenges, areas for improvement, and future priorities.
- Conduct timekeeping and attendance management for your team, ensuring compliance with company policies regarding hours and absences.
- Manage ordering and budget control of consumables such as cleaning supplies to maintain operational efficiency.
- Engage directly in core activities including cleaning, trolley collection, and waste handling to support smooth daily operations.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a driven and ambitious attitude, with enthusiasm for retail and passion for developing people.
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work in varied environments including shop floor, fridges, freezers, and parking areas.
- Maintain a keen eye for cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Physically capable of performing demanding tasks associated with the role.
- Skilled at collaborating with Department Managers and Store Leadership to manage routines and timelines effectively.
- Highly organized to ensure your team has the necessary equipment and resources to perform safely and efficiently.
- Comfortable adhering to regulated frameworks such as Food Safety standards, industrial requirements, and codes of conduct.
- Hold a valid full Australian driver's license (Green P’s or full licence), as trolley collection using company vehicles may be required.
Roster Details
- Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Monday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
