About the Role
Join Woolworths Group's proactive services team focused on maintaining trolley availability and pristine store conditions, creating a hygienic environment for customers and colleagues alike. As a Team Manager, you'll lead by example, working hands-on alongside your team to foster an energetic and service-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management tasks.
- Develop and manage staff rosters to ensure all operational duties are effectively covered daily.
- Collaborate with Store Leadership to recognize operational challenges and prioritize solutions.
- Manage attendance and time tracking while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Oversee procurement and budget management for store consumables like cleaning supplies.
- Actively participate in core operational activities to support smooth daily workflows.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong ambition coupled with a passion for retail and people management.
- Adaptability to work across various environments, including shop floors, cold storage areas, and parking lots.
- Keen attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness standards.
- Physical fitness to manage demanding manual tasks.
- Organizational skills to ensure teams have necessary tools and supplies for safety and efficiency.
- Ability to work within regulated frameworks such as Food Safety and industrial codes of conduct.
- Valid full Australian driver's licence (Green P’s or full) required for trolley retrieval using company vehicles.
Working Schedule
The role involves flexible work hours covering early mornings, daytime, late nights, and weekends. An example roster slot is Sunday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
