Team Leader - Housekeeping

About the Role

Based in Abu Dhabi at Andaz Capital Gate, the Team Leader - Housekeeping oversees and directs daily housekeeping activities. The position is tasked with ensuring all designated areas meet the standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation. Candidates will lead a group of housekeeping staff, supervise their performance, conduct regular inspections, and guarantee adherence to company regulations, health and safety protocols, and service quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide a team of housekeeping attendants.
• Monitor work quality and operational efficiency in housekeeping services.
• Conduct periodic inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of high school diploma or an equivalent certification; hospitality-related credentials are considered a plus.
• Experience ranging from 2 to 3 years in housekeeping, including previous supervisory roles.
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with team members and management.
• Capability to thrive under fast-paced work conditions and handle diverse responsibilities simultaneously.
• Understanding of housekeeping methods, operation of cleaning equipment, and safety procedures.
• Basic proficiency with computer applications and reporting tools is advantageous.
