Team Leader

Role Summary

As an integral member of the management team, the Team Leader aids the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to efficiently manage daily store activities in a retail environment.

Key Duties

• Supervise and lead store associates, offering guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage merchandising efforts including stocking shelves and handling shipment processes such as boxing and unboxing.
• Uphold exceptional customer service standards and promptly address any client concerns.
• Execute manager-on-duty responsibilities including overseeing breaks, time tracking, and attendance.
• Maintain and apply visual merchandising guidelines consistently throughout the store.
• Ensure store safety protocols and cleanliness standards are rigorously followed.
• Perform cash handling, as well as opening and closing responsibilities when required.
• Participate actively in inventory activities and conduct training sessions for employees.
• Follow up on assigned tasks while contributing to recruitment efforts and performance evaluations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least one year of experience in retail environments.
• Between one to two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• A strong desire to advance professionally within the company.
• Availability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively during busy periods.
