Team Leader

Role Overview

This position involves leading and motivating a field sales team focused on acquiring merchants across Jaipur. The leader is responsible for managing a team of freelance Field Sales Executives to execute merchant acquisition strategies effectively and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire a team of freelance Field Sales Executives.
• Formulate and implement strategies to acquire new merchants in Jaipur.
• Generate, source, close deals, and activate new merchant accounts.
• Drive the installation and activation process for GPay QR Codes and Sound Boxes.
• Monitor daily productivity, team performance, and target attainment.
• Conduct regular field visits alongside the sales team to enhance performance.
• Identify emerging markets and business opportunities for merchant expansion.
• Ensure thorough onboarding and proper documentation of merchants.
• Track and reactivate inactive merchants through consistent follow-up efforts.
• Provide coaching, training, and hands-on support to the sales force in the field.
• Prepare and convey daily and weekly performance reports to management.
• Address and manage escalations within the team to maintain smooth sales operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in field sales and team leadership.
• Experience in managing and motivating sales executives.
• Practical knowledge of QR Code and Sound Box sales and installations.
• Strong background in merchant acquisition within the digital payments or FinTech sector.
• Experience with merchant onboarding processes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Capability to work actively in field settings and meet business goals.
• Familiarity with the Jaipur local market dynamics.
