Role Overview

The school is looking for an innovative, passionate Digital Technologies teacher to join their team starting Term 1, 2027. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, capable of addressing diverse student learning styles, and able to develop learners who are confident and independent. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality Digital Technologies curriculum based on the Western Australian Curriculum for Technologies to students from years 7 to 12, covering areas such as Digital Design, Computer Programming, and Applied Information Technology.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create engaging, relevant programs tailored to students’ interests. The teacher will stay current with advancements in the field and apply sound instructional design practices. Encouraging enthusiasm for digital technologies by linking lessons to real-world and industry contexts is vital. Eligibility Criteria

• Possess a recognized teaching qualification and valid registration.
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with appropriate work rights for the appointment duration.
• Must apply for a WA Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
• Consent to a National Criminal History Check and provide a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department.
