About the Opportunity

Our client is a prestigious professional services firm based in Cork seeking to enhance its leadership by appointing a Tax Partner to lead and expand their taxation services in the region. This role offers a distinctive leadership prospect within a respected firm, allowing the successful candidate to drive the firm's tax strategy in Munster with full autonomy and solid organizational backing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Tax practice in Cork by deepening current client relationships and cultivating new business prospects.
• Offer senior-level tax advice to corporate and entrepreneurial clients spanning sectors such as technology, manufacturing, and professional services.
• Provide leadership and oversight for complex tax planning, restructuring projects, and compliance obligations.
• Work collaboratively with other departments, including Audit and Corporate Finance, to create holistic solutions for clients.
• Initiate and promote business development activities aimed at increasing the firm’s presence and client base in the region.
• Mentor and nurture the local tax team to foster a high-performance, growth-focused culture.
• Represent the firm in external networking events and thought leadership platforms.
• Contribute actively to the firm’s tax strategies and initiatives as a member of the Partner group.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a relevant professional qualification with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrates extensive experience advising a diverse range of corporate and entrepreneurial clients on intricate tax matters.
• Proven success in nurturing client relationships and driving business development.

Additional Information
