About the Role
An established accountancy firm based in County Meath is seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join their collaborative and expanding tax team. This role involves working closely with the Tax Partner and handling a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients across multiple Irish locations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse range of SME and owner-managed business clients.
- Lead, guide, and support the tax team by managing workflows, addressing technical inquiries, and facilitating staff development.
- Collaborate closely with the Tax Partner on client projects, tax planning, and client meetings.
- Manage departmental work-in-progress and billing processes while fostering strong client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Qualified Tax Advisor qualification.
- At least two years of post-qualification experience in taxation.
- In-depth understanding of Irish tax legislation and compliance standards.
- Prior experience dealing with SME and owner-managed business tax matters.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
