About the Role

An established accountancy firm based in County Meath is seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join their collaborative and expanding tax team. This role involves working closely with the Tax Partner and handling a varied portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients across multiple Irish locations. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse range of SME and owner-managed business clients.
  • Lead, guide, and support the tax team by managing workflows, addressing technical inquiries, and facilitating staff development.
  • Collaborate closely with the Tax Partner on client projects, tax planning, and client meetings.
  • Manage departmental work-in-progress and billing processes while fostering strong client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a Qualified Tax Advisor qualification.
  • At least two years of post-qualification experience in taxation.
  • In-depth understanding of Irish tax legislation and compliance standards.
  • Prior experience dealing with SME and owner-managed business tax matters.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Well-developed organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
