Role Summary

The Task Associate plays a vital role in upholding operational excellence to support sales initiatives, ensuring an exceptional guest experience by keeping the store well-stocked, clean, and organized. Key partnerships include working closely with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager, focusing on performance metrics, teamwork, and adherence to company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support achieving or surpassing store sales goals by executing assigned tasks efficiently and ensuring product availability on shelves.
• Meet compliance and operational objectives such as completing shipments, merchandise resets, inventory counts, and maintaining the task dashboard.
• Maintain consistent, punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive work environment that nurtures teamwork and excellent service to both internal team members and customers.
• Participate regularly in training programs, including brand and category education, to enhance professional skills and sales effectiveness.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and dress code diligently.
• Utilize Ulta Beauty technologies to execute merchandise displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing.
• Ensure assigned areas are continually replenished, properly signed, and aesthetically organized, including availability of testers.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Protect company assets through adherence to loss prevention practices while delivering superior guest support.
• Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Preferred education is a high school diploma.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic proficiency with technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule & Conditions

• Must be prepared to work flexible schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Job requires continuous movement throughout the store, frequent standing, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Regular lifting and carrying of items up to 25 pounds is expected.
• Continuous coordination and object handling throughout the shift.
