Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence to support sales and deliver an outstanding customer experience within the store. By maintaining stock levels, store cleanliness, and completing assigned duties, this role ensures that merchandise is available and the environment is welcoming. The Task Associate works closely with the Merchandise and Operations Managers focusing on store performance, supporting team members and guests, and adhering to operating standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of retail sales goals by ensuring timely execution of tasks and product availability.
• Achieve compliance and execution targets related to operational processes including shipment handling, merchandise arrangement, and inventory auditing.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and serves both internal teammates and customers effectively.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, dress code, and standards meticulously.
• Perform merchandise resets, implement planograms, create marketing displays, and manage inventory using company technologies and best practices.
• Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked, clearly signed, properly faced, and that product testers are accessible.
• Maintain high store standards by keeping sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break areas clean and orderly.
• Protect company assets through strict adherence to loss prevention policies while delivering excellent guest service.
• Carry out other operational and store-related assignments as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience favored.
• Competency with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions & Schedule

• The role demands continuous movement around the store during shifts, including frequent standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
• Requires lifting, carrying, or moving items up to 25 pounds regularly throughout shifts.
• Must be able to coordinate and handle merchandise objects continually during work.
• Flexible scheduling is necessary, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16 to $20, determined by factors such as education, experience, qualifications, shift, and location. Eligible full-time employees may receive paid time off and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Part-time employees may access select benefits such as dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.
