Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a key role in operational excellence supporting sales efforts by maintaining well-stocked displays, ensuring store cleanliness, and completing various assigned tasks. This role supports the Merchandise and Operations Managers by focusing on performance, people, and process adherence to Ulta Beauty's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Help achieve or surpass store sales targets by correctly executing tasks and guaranteeing product availability.
• Complete operational activities timely, including inventory counts, merchandise shipments, replenishment, displays, and compliance with task dashboard goals.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for teammates and customers alike.
• Engage regularly in training sessions focused on brand knowledge, category expertise, and professional growth.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, dress code, and safety standards.
• Perform merchandise resets, planogram layouts, marketing displays, and inventory procedures using company technology and best practices.
• Keep assigned areas stocked, signed, and visually appealing, ensuring testers are accessible.
• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness across all areas: sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention protocols and delivering outstanding guest service.
• Carry out any other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience combination preferred.
• Comfortable using basic technology including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous movement throughout the store including standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of items up to 25 pounds.
• Ongoing coordination and manual handling of products.

Compensation: Hourly pay ranges between $17.00 and $25.00 depending on factors such as education, certification, experience, level, shift, and location. Overtime allowed where applicable.
