Role Overview

Positioned within the Southeast Asia and Australia regional Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence, this role focuses on providing exemplary recruitment services in Singapore with an emphasis on retail hiring and selected office roles. The Specialist will uphold a flexible and candidate-focused recruitment approach, cooperating closely with the TA Lead, People & Organization teams, retail management, and hiring authorities to manage end-to-end recruitment activities, build talent pipelines, and maintain a high standard of processes and stakeholder experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle for retail roles in Singapore, from job requisition through candidate sourcing, evaluation, offer stage, and onboarding transition.
  • Handle selected recruitment projects for office positions adhering to market and regional priorities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and P&O to align on workforce requirements, urgency, and roles specifications.
  • Design sourcing and selection strategies that balance recruitment speed, quality, and business needs.
  • Maintain and develop pipelines for recurring, high-volume, and mission-critical retail hiring.
  • Utilize direct sourcing, referrals, networking, market mapping, and recruitment channels to establish sustainable talent pools.
  • Ensure a consistent, professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers during the recruitment process.
  • Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers, providing ongoing updates, talent market insights, and practical recruitment recommendations.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with retail leadership, P&O, and regional TA teams to align recruitment activities.
  • Consult with hiring managers to refine job requirements and advise on sourcing strategies and assessment methods.
  • Incorporate market and competitor intelligence to guide realistic candidate profiles and hiring decisions.
  • Identify and escalate recruitment challenges or risks promptly with solution-focused responses.
  • Operate within the SEAA TA Centre of Excellence framework to ensure agility, cross-market collaboration, and recruitment standardization.
  • Engage with regional TA colleagues to share insights, pipelines, and best practices.
  • Support regional recruitment initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Adhere to established governance, processes, and recruitment policies when executing hiring activities.
  • Foster a collaborative and agile TA community throughout the region.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date recruitment records in Workday and other systems.
  • Monitor key recruitment metrics including hiring progression, time-to-fill, pipeline health, source efficiency, and offer outcomes.
  • Deliver structured stakeholder updates through trackers and reports.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify recruitment process improvements and enhance hiring decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, approvals, and local labor laws throughout recruitment.
  • Advocate for CHANEL’s employer brand by promoting the employee value proposition in all candidate and stakeholder interactions.
  • Guarantee a thoughtful, timely, and respectful experience for candidates at every recruitment phase.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction activities tailored to the Singapore and SEAA market.
  • Present CHANEL professionally in the external talent marketplace and nurture lasting relationships with potential candidates.
  • Champion inclusive hiring to secure fair, unbiased, and consistent recruitment decisions.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, sourcing partners, and external providers.
  • Ensure external partners align with CHANEL’s recruitment expectations and candidate experience standards.
  • Provide performance feedback to vendors and address any issues escalated during assignments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Between four to eight years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in retail, luxury goods, hospitality, consumer services, or customer-centric environments.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end volume recruitment for multiple simultaneous vacancies.
  • Expertise in direct sourcing, talent pipeline development, candidate evaluation, and offer management.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore’s talent market and relevant employment regulations.
  • Confidence in partnering with hiring managers using talent and market intelligence.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable utilizing applicant tracking systems, digital recruitment tools, and data analytics; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
  • Pragmatic, proactive working approach with high attention to detail and completion accountability.
  • Fluent in English—both written and spoken.
