Job description
Role Overview
Join GovTech Singapore as a Talent Acquisition Sourcer where you will play an essential role in attracting top-tier technology professionals to advance the mission of building Tech for Public Good. This position focuses on the early phases of recruitment, combining strategic talent identification with the creation of strong talent pipelines. The engagement will initially be in the form of a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventive sourcing methods to locate both active and passive candidates for specialized tech roles, such as Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Cloud Architecture.
- Perform detailed talent mapping and collect market intelligence to grasp talent ecosystems, identify critical companies, and discover emerging candidate pools aligned with GovTech’s strategic goals.
- Compose engaging outreach communications and establish strong relationships with prospects by effectively sharing GovTech’s mission and value proposition.
- Continuously build and maintain rich talent pipelines to satisfy both immediate recruitment requirements and future pivotal positions.
- Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand role specifics, team environments, and strategic objectives, translating them into actionable sourcing strategies.
- Drive enhancements in sourcing processes, tools, and systems, utilizing data insights to boost efficiency, candidate engagement, and recruitment outcomes.
- Represent GovTech’s brand by promoting its culture, values—Agile, Bold, Collaborative—and impact-driven public projects.
Desired Profile
- Demonstrated expertise in talent sourcing within the technology sector, including success with challenging and niche hires.
- Strong technical knowledge across various technology disciplines, such as software development, product management, design, data engineering, and cybersecurity.
- Strategic thinking capabilities focused on talent acquisition challenges and the creation of innovative, metrics-driven sourcing solutions.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills for quickly building rapport and persuading potential candidates.
- Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships and guiding hiring managers through sourcing processes.
- Proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, and social media channels.
- Commitment to a data-focused approach for informing sourcing strategies, performance tracking, and reporting key talent insights.
- Alignment with GovTech’s mission and values, showcasing Agile, Bold, and Collaborative behaviors.
- Project management skills to contribute towards improving recruitment efficiency and candidate experience enhancements.
