Role Overview
As a Systems Process Specialist, you will serve as part of the 1-Stop-Shop, contributing to support, continuous improvement, onboarding, and adoption initiatives. This role demands deep process insight and collaboration with the Business Support Community to enhance business processes and IT applications continually.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 1 support (including 24x7 on-call rotation) either on-site or remotely as the primary contact for site stakeholders, troubleshooting manufacturing-related applications.
- Maintain clear coordination and communication with end users and site business stakeholders during major incidents.
- Work collaboratively with global IT teams across varied locations and time zones to support and monitor IT service ticket closures, validate resolutions, and conduct necessary testing.
- Assist in the rollout, go-live, and support of new IT products, systems, and initiatives at the site level.
- Ensure compliance with IT-related Roche quality policies, standards, and relevant SOPs.
- Support application lifecycle management by acting as a subject matter expert during GMP audits and planned/unplanned events, participate in ITOT systems' lifecycle planning and execution, managing integrated change processes, computer system validation and qualification, and, when applicable, system retirement or decommissioning.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
- Have at least five years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Strong familiarity with SAP (ERP, S4 HANA), EWM (including Plan to Delivery Product and Plan to Retire Asset), and MES is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of LIMS, Enterprise Service Bus technologies such as Mulesoft and Solace, scripting languages (e.g., Google Apps Script), BI tools (e.g., Tableau), rational database management, and robotic automation is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of system design, implementation, commissioning, qualification/validation, maintenance, Windows Server Administration, SQL databases, OPC communication, Crystal Reports, web-based software development, integration with enterprise business systems (Mulesoft, LIMS, SAP), TCP/IP, cybersecurity, and data integrity concepts is beneficial.
