Role Overview

As a Pre Sales Systems Engineer at Forescout, you will play a pivotal role in shaping cybersecurity solutions by collaborating closely with customers and sales teams. Your mission will be to technically drive the sales process, delivering expert consultation, product demonstrations, and technical insights to foster revenue growth and long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate clients and partners about Forescout's security technologies and the changing threat landscape.
• Develop trusted advisory relationships by aligning the company's offerings with customers’ business and technical needs.
• Identify security issues within client environments and coordinate with stakeholders across technical and managerial levels.
• Confidently present product value, roadmaps, and strategic direction to varied audiences from engineers to executives.
• Conduct both virtual and in-person product demonstrations and technical presentations alongside sales teams.
• Support customers through technical escalations, acting as a liaison between sales, support, and engineering for effective resolution.
• Engage in pre-sales activities to qualify and close new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with channel partners in channel-focused sales approaches.
• Manage proof-of-concept initiatives including optimizing test plans, configuring solutions, and resolving evaluation challenges.
• Assist in developing POC environments aligned with account objectives and resources.
• Maintain relevant certifications such as FSCA and FSCE, and stay updated with the latest Forescout technologies through continuous training.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 8 years of overall experience in IT, including at least 5 years in pre-sales or technical consulting roles.
• Strong enthusiasm for cybersecurity technologies and hands-on customer interactions.
• Excellent technical aptitude combined with persuasive presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within geographically dispersed teams.
• Highly motivated, detail-conscious, and committed to exceeding customer expectations.
• Competent in translating customer requirements into optimized security solutions.
• Adaptable and resilient in fast-evolving environments with multitasking capability under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
