Job Overview
The Co-Development Business Unit is seeking a Systems Analyst for a one-year contractual engagement. This role involves analyzing business processes, collaborating with users to define and implement effective solutions, ensuring project deliverables meet quality and scheduling expectations, and maintaining application performance post-deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business workflows and collaborate with end-users to architect comprehensive application solutions.
- Offer expert guidance to business users on utilizing application systems and IT effectively.
- Oversee application system development, managing timelines and budgets to successful completion.
- Design functional, high-quality solutions that guarantee excellent user experiences.
- Monitor system performance post-launch and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with technical, solution, and information architects to ensure robust applications aligned with enterprise standards.
- Document technical specifics and system details comprehensively.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience as a Systems Analyst.
- Proficient in application development with technologies and languages including Mobile, Web, Object-Oriented Programming, SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Mainframe systems.
- Project management experience with the ability to meet timelines and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Familiarity with Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD supporting tools such as GitLab, Confluence, JIRA, and SonarQube.
- Experience or understanding of cloud computing, microservices architecture, and containerized technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Passion and interest in IT, programming, and system design concepts.
- Solid grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
- Competence in secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities such as cross-site scripting, injection attacks, race conditions, and error handling weaknesses.
- Experience integrating applications with government services like CorPass and SingPass.
