Role Overview

The position of System Analyst is a full-time role based in Kampala, combining onsite presence with opportunities for remote work. The primary responsibilities include examining business workflows and system needs, converting stakeholder requirements into technical documents, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to devise effective system designs. They will assess current technologies, spot deficiencies, suggest enhancements, and aid in deployment tasks such as configuration, testing, and document preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues daily.
• Work closely with various teams to ensure integrated solution delivery.
• Create detailed reports and system diagrams for clarity and planning.
• Align technological implementations with business goals and compliance standards.
• Monitor system efficiency and provide ongoing support.
• Conduct user training sessions to ensure smooth adoption.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across digital platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong competence in Systems and Business Analysis to articulate business needs as clear technical workflows.
• Analytical prowess to interpret data and assess system performance for informed decisions.
• Solid understanding of IT concepts, including software architecture, databases, APIs, and enterprise infrastructures.
• Aptitude for troubleshooting complex system problems and coordinating their resolution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities to work with diverse teams.
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or closely related disciplines is advantageous.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, process modeling (using UML or BPMN), and documentation best practices is preferred.
• Knowledge or exposure to contemporary software development methodologies, cloud environments, and security protocols adds value.
