About Sixty Vines
Sixty Vines offers chef-inspired menus that celebrate seasonal wine country cuisine, prepared fresh daily with local produce in an open-scratch kitchen. Our knowledgeable team assists guests in pairing each dish with the ideal wine selection, enhancing the dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable food and beverage service, adhering to established quality and timing standards.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, including tables and general areas.
- Assist servers, bartenders, and team members by maintaining table readiness and efficiently delivering food and drinks.
- Support special cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed.
- Communicate positively and professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Arrive punctually prepared for shifts and meet uniform and grooming standards, which include ironed shirts, black aprons, wrinkle-free black pants, slip-resistant shoes, black socks, neatly styled hair, minimal jewelry, and natural makeup when applicable.
- Efficiently set up and tear down workstations; maintain stocked supplies and ice for drink preparation.
- Adhere to all state and federal food and alcohol service laws, maintaining current certifications.
- Ensure correct food delivery and table service, including bussing and manicuring tables, polishing silverware and glassware.
- Report equipment issues promptly to supervisors and maintain all tools necessary for job functions.
- Collaborate enthusiastically with the team and follow all operational checklists and safety guidelines.
- Possess full knowledge of the food and beverage menu, host stand processes, and support staff duties.
- Assist servers in caring for their tables and guests during visits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading English.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.
- Competence in using knives and other relevant equipment safely.
- Capability to use trays effectively for serving food and beverages.
- Maintain current Food Handler's Certification and TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) certification, and adhere to proper sanitation and alcohol service regulations.
