About the Role

We are looking to recruit a skilled Setting-Out Engineer/Site Surveyor to contribute to the successful completion of an important civil infrastructure project located in County Kerry, Ireland. This position is ideal for a land surveying expert or an engineer with robust setting-out skills who is committed to accuracy, quality, and ensuring the effective delivery of large-scale civil engineering developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform setting out for civil engineering projects employing GPS, Total Station devices, and other surveying tools.
• Conduct topographical, as-built, and control surveys essential to project execution.
• Confirm levels, measurements, and coordinates to maintain precision and adherence to project requirements.
• Handle and process survey data, generating precise documentation and reports.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and site management teams to coordinate all surveying tasks.
• Uphold superior health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project.

Requirements

• Possess a degree or professional certification in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a similar field.
• At least three years' experience in roles such as Setting-Out Engineer or Land Surveyor.
• Proficient in the usage of GPS, Total Station, and related surveying instruments.
• Experience working on civil engineering or infrastructure projects providing surveying services.
• Strong focus on detail with excellent organizational and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Capable of working both independently and effectively within a project team environment.
