Role Summary
The Support Worker role is a dependable, permanent full-time position based at Waterford Services, requiring work of 78 hours per fortnight. This role involves hands-on care and support for a group of people with intellectual disabilities, assisting them in daily personal care and fostering community integration and participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive personal care during the day, including hygiene, meal assistance, and other physical well-being needs.
- Act as a key worker committed to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Assist in developing and achieving goals within each individual's personalized plan.
- Promote and support active community involvement and social integration of the people supported.
