Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized, person-centred support and assistance with personal care.
  • Motivate and assist individuals to engage in meaningful activities and experiences.
  • Facilitate communication tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Adhere to care plans diligently and maintain precise records.
  • Encourage independence, ensure safety, and promote overall wellbeing.

Who You’ll Support

You will work with several individuals who have learning disabilities at our Bourne center, supporting them to live as independently as possible. Your role involves aiding with daily routines and personal care, while fostering strong, trustworthy relationships. Activities may range from community outings to holidays and new adventures, all reflecting the person’s choices and promoting their safety.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A calm, patient, and compassionate demeanor with a readiness to learn and develop trust.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a consistent team environment.
  • Possession of a valid Full UK driving licence.
  • At least 12 months left on your UK right to work documentation.
