Job description
Overview
We seek a diligent Support Services Supervisor based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to lead and coordinate various support functions such as warehouse management, vehicle fleet oversight, employee housing, and administrative support. This full-time role requires ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining safety and compliance, and fostering continuous improvements in support processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise support staff by managing schedules, shifts, performance evaluations, discipline, and onboarding new team members.
- Provide administrative assistance by addressing logistical requests from internal departments promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage warehouse activities including receipt, issuance, storage of materials, performing regular inventory checks, and overseeing stock replenishment.
- Oversee the fleet by ensuring vehicle maintenance, accident reporting, insurance claims handling, license and registration renewals, as well as monitoring fuel consumption and driver logs.
- Maintain employee housing facilities ensuring readiness, upkeep, safety compliance, record management, and resident issue resolution.
- Compile comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports covering warehouse, fleet, and housing metrics, incident logs, insurance claims, and provide key performance indicators with recommendations.
- Administer vendor and contract management by supervising agreements with external service providers and ensuring compliance.
- Assist in budgeting processes related to warehouse, fleet, and housing to align expenditures with financial plans.
- Ensure all operational sites adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Identify, propose, and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead emergency responses concerning warehouse, fleet, or housing issues effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Have between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in support services, general administration, or a similar area, ideally with prior supervisory responsibilities.
- Exhibit strong leadership qualities and supervisory capabilities.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple concurrent operations.
- Possess knowledge of insurance policies and accident claims procedures.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word; familiarity with warehouse or fleet management software is advantageous.
- Show effective communication and negotiation skills with vendors and insurance companies.
- Be fluent in Arabic; English language skills are preferred.
- Capable of handling pressure and emergency situations efficiently.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, responsible, and accountable.
- Willingness to travel to various operational sites including warehouses, housing, and fleet locations.
- Self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
