Job description

Overview

The Support Services Manager will report directly to the CEO/General Manager and lead the Administration, Procurement, Fleet & Transportation, Maintenance, Weapons, and Warehouse departments. This role is key to driving the operational effectiveness of support services, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, asset protection, and adherence to all company and regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all support services departments to meet their operational targets.
  • Manage procurement processes, supplier relationships, purchasing activities, and implement cost optimization measures.
  • Ensure availability, efficient utilization, maintenance, licensing, and cost control of the company fleet.
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for company facilities, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Maintain strict control over the management, custody, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance concerning weapons and ammunition.
  • Supervise warehouse operations, maintaining stock availability, accurate inventory records, and safeguarding assets.
  • Ensure administrative services effectively support corporate departments, branches, and projects.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Support Services budgets while identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Guarantee compliance with company policies, internal controls, audits, and applicable regulations.
  • Set departmental KPIs, continuously monitor performance, and report key findings, risks, and challenges to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior management or leadership positions.
  • Proven capability managing multiple support or operational functions, including budget oversight, supplier relations, and contract management.
  • Previous experience in security firms or managing multi-site/project environments is advantageous.
