Supervisor - Workshop

About the Role

Greeland Group seeks an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all daily workshop operations at its Qatar facility. This full-time, onsite position involves managing manpower and workflow to ensure efficient and quality maintenance, repair, and fabrication tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily workshop activities, including assigning jobs to technicians, mechanics, and fabricators.
• Ensure repair, maintenance, and servicing tasks meet technical specifications and are completed timely.
• Supervise inspection of completed jobs for adherence to quality standards.
• Manage the use and maintenance of workshop tools, machinery, and materials.
• Identify and resolve mechanical or technical issues through appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive records of repairs, parts usage, and equipment operations.
• Uphold workplace safety, proper housekeeping, and safe equipment operation standards.
• Liaise with management and other departments regarding workshop needs and progress.
• Train and mentor workshop staff to enhance productivity and work quality.

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in workshop supervision or mechanical maintenance.
• Proficient knowledge in mechanical maintenance, maintenance engineering, and workshop facilitation.
• Familiarity with welding equipment maintenance, repair processes, and facilities upkeep.
