Supervisor - Water & Gas Maintenance

Overview

Greenland Group is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to oversee daily water and gas maintenance operations at their Qatar location. This full-time role involves managing installation, inspection, repair, and upkeep of water and gas pipelines and associated systems, ensuring all activities comply with safety and procedural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance tasks related to water and gas systems.
• Interpret and utilize technical drawings, system layouts, and maintenance plans effectively.
• Delegate assignments to technicians and supervise the accurate completion of their duties.
• Detect faults, leaks, or any operational issues, and facilitate appropriate corrective measures.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and company maintenance protocols.
• Manage resources, including tools, equipment, materials, and staffing needs.
• Document maintenance activities and report progress regularly to supervisors and management.
• Collaborate with different departments and external contractors to ensure seamless maintenance operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of five years’ experience in relevant maintenance roles.
• A diploma in mechanical engineering is required.
• Proficiency in maintenance engineering, facilities and plant maintenance, mechanical and electrical upkeep.
• Knowledgeable in maintenance procedures, repair techniques, and capable as a gas fitter and pipe fitter.
