Supervising Pharmacist

About the Role

McCabes Pharmacy in Skycourt, Shannon, County Clare, is seeking a dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis, working 45 hours per week. This position emphasizes delivering safe, efficient, and professional pharmaceutical care aligned with the highest standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the dispensary ensuring compliance with PSI guidelines and pharmacy laws.
• Provide patients with safe, friendly, and efficient dispensing services in accordance with McCabes Pharmacy policies.
• Deliver advanced pharmacy services including vaccinations, health screenings, and counselling.
• Maintain ethical standards, accuracy, and professionalism consistently.
• Ensure timely and secure provision of medications to support patient wellbeing.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals such as GPs and nurses for integrated patient care.
• Support monthly claims processes ensuring accurate and prompt submissions to Payment Boards.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years qualified experience as a pharmacist.
• Possession of a PSI approved Pharmacy Qualification and current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
