About the Role
Join McCabes Pharmacy in Lucan as a Supervising Pharmacist, where your expertise will ensure dispensary operations adhere to the highest legal and professional standards, aligned with PSI guidelines and pharmacy legislation. This permanent full-time position offers the chance to profoundly impact patient care by providing safe, efficient, and friendly dispensing services alongside delivering vaccinations, health screenings, and patient counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the pharmacy dispensary to maintain compliance with legal, professional, and PSI regulations.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by prioritizing patient safety and health.
- Offer advanced services including vaccinations, health screening tests, and thorough patient consultations.
- Uphold exemplary ethical, professional, and accuracy standards in all pharmacy activities.
- Ensure timely and secure medication distribution to support community health.
- Collaborate effectively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient-centered care.
- Assist in the monthly claims process by preparing precise submissions for the relevant Payment Boards.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as a Pharmacist.
- Possession of a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and current registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
