Role Description

This role, positioned in Kochi on a full-time, on-site basis, involves guiding prospective students throughout the entire study abroad journey. Responsibilities include conducting personalized consultations to evaluate students' academic backgrounds and career ambitions, recommending appropriate countries, programs, and institutions, and clarifying admission requirements and schedules. The advisor is also responsible for assisting with visa documentation and applications, liaising with partner institutions, and maintaining meticulous records of student interactions and application progress. Additionally, the role entails organizing informative sessions, addressing inquiries both in-person and online, collaborating with internal teams, and upholding the organization's ethical and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ability in educational consulting encompassing student profiling, program recommendation, and clear communication of admission procedures.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel students and engage their families.
• Understanding of visa requirements and documentation processes across multiple countries with the aptitude to guide students accordingly.
• Strong consulting skills including problem-solving, decision-making support, and unbiased guidance.
• A bachelor's degree in any field; credentials in education, counseling, or international relations are considered advantageous.
• Minimum of two years professional experience in overseas education consultancy, student counseling, or academic advising is mandatory.
• Proficient command of English; knowledge of regional Kerala languages is an added benefit.
• Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable working in a client-centric environment with collaborative interactions among cross-functional teams.
