Role Overview

This position is a full-time, onsite Study Abroad Advisor role based in Kochi. The advisor will lead prospective students through the full process of studying abroad, including personalized counseling, evaluating academic and career goals, recommending appropriate countries, courses, and institutions, and clarifying admissions criteria and schedules. Additional responsibilities include assisting with visa documentation and applications, liaising with partner institutions, tracking student interactions and application progress, hosting information sessions, managing walk-in and digital inquiries, working collaboratively with internal teams, and maintaining the company's high standards of integrity and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized counseling to students regarding study abroad options based on assessment of their profiles.
• Recommend suitable programs, destinations, and institutions tailored to students' academic and career objectives.
• Explain the admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and timelines clearly to students and their families.
• Assist students with visa application requirements and documentation across multiple countries.
• Coordinate communications with overseas partner institutions to facilitate smooth admissions processes.
• Maintain accurate records of student consultations and application statuses.
• Conduct presentations and information sessions to educate prospective students and stakeholders.
• Respond effectively to both on-site and online inquiries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Adhere to organizational values by providing honest, transparent, and quality advisory support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ mandatory experience in overseas education consulting, student counseling, or academic advising.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for educational backgrounds in education, counseling, or international relations.
• Strong educational consulting capabilities, including candidate assessment and program recommendation expertise.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills for conducting counseling, presentations, and building rapport with students and families.
• In-depth knowledge of visa procedures and document requirements across various countries.
• Problem-solving and decision-support abilities to provide impartial guidance.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Kerala regional languages is advantageous.
• Organizational aptitude with detail orientation and the ability to handle multiple student cases concurrently.
• Comfort working in a client-facing on-site environment and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
