About the Role
A prestigious design studio in Dubai, known for its unique design style and premium residential projects, is expanding and seeking a Studio Director. This leadership role is part of the management team and aims to enhance the day-to-day operations of the studio. It requires a background in Interior Design or Architecture with a deep understanding of design project delivery, client needs, and effective team structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily studio operations and workflow coordination.
- Support project scheduling, resource allocation, and assign team members effectively.
- Collaborate closely with discipline leads on ongoing projects.
- Monitor project delivery, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth internal coordination.
- Enhance team performance and address operational challenges.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal departments.
- Develop and refine internal processes to support continued studio growth.
- Assist in establishing structures to accommodate future expansion.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Interior Designer or Architect who has progressively assumed responsibilities involving team leadership, project oversight, and studio operations management. The candidate should be commercially minded, highly organized, confident in senior leadership interactions, and possess a solid grasp of the creative and technical demands of running a design studio.
