Job description
About the Role
We are looking to hire a Structural Design Engineer based in Bengaluru at Magadi Main Road, Sunkadakatte. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience and hold a B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering. Immediate joiners are preferred for this position.
Key Skills and Expertise Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
- Experience with STAAD.Pro for structural analysis
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and SketchUp
- Expertise in structural design and analysis methods
- Skills in estimation, cost calculation, and BOQ preparation
- Ability to prepare detailed structural drawings and documentation
- Familiarity with reinforced cement concrete (RCC) and steel structures
- Accurate calculation of material quantities and technical documentation
Core Responsibilities
- Develop structural designs, perform calculations, and produce detailed engineering drawings
- Conduct structural analysis to ensure compliance with relevant design standards
- Prepare estimates, bills of quantity (BOQs), and calculate required materials
- Collaborate closely with project management, site teams, and design departments to ensure smooth workflow and execution
