About the Role
The Strategy Manager will oversee strategic and transformation initiatives within Retail Banking. This role involves creating key performance indicators (KPIs), management information (MI), and dashboards to provide insights to senior leaders. The position requires analysis of the business financials and performance, while also contributing to the design of sales incentive frameworks. Acting as a key advisor to the Head of Strategy & Transformation, the candidate will coordinate programs and represent the department in senior management forums.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the development and implementation of the Retail Banking strategy and transformation roadmap.
- Manage and monitor various strategic and transformation projects, ensuring progress, risk mitigation, and financial oversight.
- Create and maintain KPIs, dashboards, MI, and prepare executive-level reports for senior management review.
- Evaluate business and financial performance of Retail Banking, proposing actionable improvements.
- Design and administer sales incentive plans along with tracking payout mechanisms.
- Lead or contribute to initiatives targeting cost reductions, process enhancements, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in management committees and forums to represent the Strategy & Transformation function.
- Act as deputy to the Head of Strategy & Transformation when required.
Candidate Profile
- Between 10 to 15 years of experience in the Banking sector with a significant focus on Retail Banking.
- Professional background in Strategy, Transformation, Project Management Office (PMO), Business Management, or Performance Management.
- At least 3 years in managerial or leadership roles.
- Strong experience managing stakeholders at senior banking leadership levels.
- Competent in financial and business analysis and skilled in preparing executive reports.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy or a related discipline.
