Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Strategy and Performance Expert will contribute to crafting the annual Business Plan and oversee its deployment across various divisions and departments. This role demands continuous evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of improvements to boost organizational performance. The expert will support strategic initiatives and assist the Strategy team in carrying out targeted projects.

• Design, execute, and monitor annual business and operational plans.
• Identify critical strategic opportunities and challenges affecting short- and long-term objectives.
• Conduct evaluations including business case development, market research, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modeling.
• Stay updated on global transport and mobility trends to forecast impacts on corporate strategy.
• Enhance and promote the strategic planning process organization-wide.
• Assist in rolling out strategic corporate initiatives.
• Prepare presentations tailored for Senior Management.
• Establish and maintain consistent performance reporting frameworks to track progress against targets.
• Assess the implementation of Business Plans, KPIs, initiatives, and milestones.
• Conduct performance reviews, perform root-cause analyses, and oversee corrective actions and improvements to drive enhanced corporate performance.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc performance reports for leadership.
• Perform ad hoc analyses, summarize insights, and prepare presentation outputs as needed.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Possesses at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Holds over five years of total professional experience, including a minimum of two years in management consulting or five years in corporate strategy or planning within a prestigious organization.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in creating high-quality presentations tailored for Senior Management.
• Preferred background in the transportation or rail sector, or familiarity with the Qatari market.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
