Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, Android Ecosystem Partnerships

About the Role

As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager at Google, you will play a key role in accelerating the growth of the Android ecosystem and platform devices in the telecommunications, OEM, and retail sectors across the Asia-Pacific region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Android Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal, managing strategic relationships and executing partnership agreements to drive user acquisition and business expansion. Your expertise will help shape compelling applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV, and Commerce.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new partnership opportunities aligned with Google's Android platform and devices goals to expand business and ecosystem growth.
• Gather, analyze, and communicate local partner feedback and country-specific trends to influence product performance and problem resolution collaboratively with internal teams.
• Ensure operational excellence through managing partnerships, conducting business reviews, integrating agreements, and handling escalations effectively.
• Lead complex, multifaceted business projects from initiation to launch, delivering results on schedule and with high quality.
• Coordinate and integrate objectives and timelines across internal departments such as Product, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing to drive overall platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 7 years working experience within the mobile network operator or OEM sectors.
• Proven history of managing agreements and partnerships successfully.
• Preferred: Experience liaising with executives at the C-level and managing cross-level stakeholder collaborations.
• Familiarity with long business cycles, negotiating agreements, and business development or partner management roles.
• Experience in the Vietnam and Pakistan markets is advantageous.
• Demonstrated strategic expertise in mobile ecosystems, telecommunications, or related technology industries.
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese to effectively support partnerships across Southeast Asia.
