Position Overview
The Artarmon branch is seeking a full-time Driver/Storeperson to join their team. This dynamic role combines warehouse responsibilities with local delivery duties. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient stock flow, handling deliveries, and providing excellent customer service to trade professionals in Australia's electrical sector.
Daily Responsibilities
- Unload and load deliveries, process and dispatch customer orders, verify received goods, and manage purchase order entries.
- Conduct stocktaking activities with diligence and accuracy.
- Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Drive vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to road safety regulations and promoting courteous navigation.
- Support the maintenance of high safety standards within the workplace.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and sales assistance to tradespeople.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in warehousing or customer-facing roles is preferred; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and career ambition.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
