Job description
Role Overview
Located in Perth Precinct, WA, the Storeperson will join the Flexi Parts Warehouse team on a full-time basis, reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This position involves various warehousing functions including picking, packing, forklift operation, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and moving parts using a forklift within the storage racking system.
- Conduct stocktaking and maintain inventory control accuracy.
- Repair minor parts and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Utilize radio frequency scanners for order processing.
- Pick and pack customer orders efficiently and process back orders as required.
Skills and Experience Required
- Valid forklift license and demonstrated forklift operating skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Computer literate with familiarity in Microsoft Office suite.
- High attention to detail and good manual handling practices.
- Adaptability to perform tasks in various weather conditions.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 8.5 hours per day including a meal break.
