Job description

Job Overview

Located in Newman, Western Australia, this full-time FIFO position reports directly to the Branch Manager and is based onsite at a customer location. The Storeperson will be primarily responsible for hose building, accurately and efficiently interpreting parts, and managing the picking, packing, and dispatch of customer parts orders. Comprehensive hose building training will be provided to support this role.

About Newman Team

The Newman-based team delivers Cat machinery services tailored to various earthmoving operations, covering new and used equipment sales, heavy equipment rentals, parts provisioning, servicing, and merchandise sales.

Work Schedule

The roster follows an 8 days on, 6 days off cycle, with 12-hour workdays including a meal break.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hose building tasks.
  • Carry out general warehousing operations.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders.
  • Provide assistance and service to customers as required.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience or familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP, DBS, or equivalents.
  • Background in a warehouse environment or parts interpretation is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in computers, including the Microsoft Office suite, paired with effective communication skills.
  • Strong customer service aptitude.
  • Possession of a High Risk Work Licence is advantageous.
