Position Overview

Our client, a prominent air conditioning wholesaler located in Gnangara, Perth, is seeking a motivated Storeperson to enhance their warehouse operations. This role offers a temporary to permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a competitive hourly rate of $35.00.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare air conditioning units and components for dispatch through picking and packing tasks.
• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move inventory within the warehouse.
• Arrange courier bookings and manage delivery and collection schedules.
• Maintain accurate stock records and replenish shelves when necessary.
• Perform general warehouse duties including housekeeping and conducting inventory audits.
• Assist trade customers both at the counter and via phone communication.
• Load and unload deliveries as part of daily activities.
• Ensure the warehouse remains organised, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possession of a valid LF Forklift Licence.
• A current driver’s licence is mandatory.
• Previous experience working as a storeperson or in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in task execution.
• Strong communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach.
• Capability to safely handle and maneuver stock items.
• Dependable and safety-conscious work ethic.
• Ability to operate effectively both independently and within a team setting.
• Physical fitness to meet the requirements of manual handling tasks.
