Role Overview
This position requires working 12-hour shifts on both night and day schedules. The location is West Wallsend, Newcastle. Candidates with mining experience or related roles are encouraged to apply. The hourly wage is a flat rate of $54.97.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply skills to support the efficient and effective operation of the GCAA businesses.
- Assist the Operator Awareness Monitoring Centre Supervisor in meeting and exceeding technical expectations that add value to site operations.
- Adhere to policies, systems, and procedures, continually enhancing skills to maximize output and contribution.
- Assess safety, environmental, and cost considerations when planning and executing tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Basic proficiency with computer systems.
- Possession of a valid driver's licence.
- Capability to successfully pass a Coal Board Medical examination.
