Role Summary
The Storeperson plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations at the DKSH Beauty & Wellness Distribution Centre in Mangere. This hands-on position requires diligent handling of stock through receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching processes, directly impacting customer satisfaction across the country. The afternoon shift runs Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, process, and store incoming stock efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders to consistently high standards.
- Carefully manage fragile and high-value items to preserve quality.
- Maintain precise stock counts, update locations, tags, and labels regularly.
- Identify and report any discrepancies such as damaged goods, misplaced stock, or incorrect order picks.
- Ensure the work area is kept clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Perform administrative and coordination tasks as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Mandatory forklift operation certification.
- Minimum of two years experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Experience with inventory management or logistics software systems.
- Physically fit and able to comfortably manage manual labor tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Team-oriented mindset with effective and friendly communication skills.
- Proactive and practical in addressing challenges as they arise.
