Opportunity Overview
We are inviting applications for an experienced and dependable Storeperson to join our high-performing Parts team located at our Cavan branch under a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role calls for your expertise in warehouse functions to guarantee smooth logistics and timely delivery of quality parts to our customers. Join a supportive team within an established original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders for parts
- Receiving incoming parts and equipment as well as dispatching shipments
- Safely loading and unloading freight with precision
- Performing regular quality control inspections and conducting inventory audits
- Delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders and external customers
- Maintaining detailed and accurate computer records while managing stock inventory levels
- Coordinating with freight providers to assure timely, cost-effective deliveries
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse or stores roles
- Possession of a valid forklift license
- Strong attention to detail coupled with a commitment to safety protocols
- Proficiency in computer operation and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively
