About the Opportunity

Based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, the Storeperson will be a key member of the WesTrac KCGM Parts Department, permanently employed full-time at the KCGM Warehouse. This role reports to the Parts Supervisor and focuses on precise and efficient handling of parts orders to ensure top-tier customer service. Additional duties include assisting with hose manufacturing, with training provided. The position involves shift work with a roster of 7 days on, 3 days off, followed by 7 night shifts, then 4 days off, operating 12.5-hour shifts (including a half-hour meal break).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct general warehousing activities
• Manage picking, packing, and processing of customer orders accurately
• Operate forklifts safely
• Assist in hose building tasks
• Provide quality assistance and support to customers

Required Skills and Experience

• Possession of a High Risk Work Licence for forklift operation is mandatory
• Experience using warehouse management systems such as SAP, DBS, or comparable platforms
• Previous exposure to warehouse environments or in parts interpreting roles
• Demonstrated positive attitude combined with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite, alongside good communication capabilities
• Strong customer service aptitude
