Job Overview
As a Storeperson at Stanley Black & Decker, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of goods, merchandise, and materials within our storage facilities in Auckland, New Zealand. Your duties will include organizing, stacking, and placing items for both temporary and permanent storage according to specific instructions. This role requires operating loading and unloading equipment, maintaining records, and collaborating within an innovative and globally connected team.
Key Responsibilities
- Move, stack, and organize goods, merchandise, or materials for storage purposes.
- Store items in accordance with provided guidelines to ensure proper inventory management.
- Load and unload vehicles including road and rail transport, as well as containers and pallets.
- Operate conveyors, elevators, stacking, or loading machinery as required to facilitate goods handling.
- Pack, mark, and weigh materials or merchandise accurately to maintain shipment and inventory records.
- Select appropriate items from storage as needed to fulfill orders.
- Initiate and complete standard operating processes involved in storage and transport.
- Maintain documentation and accurate records related to inventory movement and storage procedures.
