Role Summary

The role involves a balanced combination of warehouse and driving responsibilities, with about 80% time in the warehouse and 20% on the road. This position demands hands-on cargo management, including receiving and verifying freight using a forklift and preparing shipments for carriers. Driving duties include short local runs between the company and the airport, handling import air cargo collection and export shipment delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately releasing and receipting freight with proper documentation
• Performing general warehouse duties while keeping workspaces neat and organised
• Safely transporting airfreight units without causing damage
• Ensuring timely return of empty units
• Providing flexible support to team members to maintain efficient operations

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience working within warehouse settings
• Possession of a valid Class 4 driving licence, facilitating around 20% driving tasks
• Current forklift (fork hoist) licence
• Physical ability to lift weights up to 20 kilograms
• Reliable, precise, and proactive approach to work

• This is a full-time permanent role
• Working hours range between 40 to 50 per week on a rotating roster
