Storekeeper (Saudi Only)

Position Overview

The Storekeeper will manage receipt, staging, and proper placement of merchandise by department within the facility. Duties include marking and delivering merchandise, stacking on pallets or carts, completing requisition forms for supplies, and timely reporting of low inventory levels to supervisors. The role requires careful handling and inspection of deliveries to ensure freshness, quality, and correctness, including refusal of damaged goods. Compliance with food safety practices, sanitation of storage areas and equipment, and proper waste disposal are key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, and transport merchandise to designated departments accurately.
• Stack goods on pallets or carts and maintain organized storage spaces.
• Complete necessary requisition documentation for inventory management.
• Communicate low stock situations promptly to management.
• Inspect deliveries for quality, freshness, and conformity; reject unacceptable items.
• Adhere strictly to food safety protocols and maintain sanitization of refrigerators, freezers, and associated areas.
• Dispose of empty pallets, cardboard, and trash appropriately.
• Report safety incidents or hazards to supervisor and complete related training.
• Ensure professional appearance, confidentiality, and company policy compliance.
• Maintain positive communication with guests and colleagues and foster teamwork.
• Meet performance standards related to quality assurance and safety.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, navigating various environments, and using fine motor skills.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary.
