Job Overview

We are looking for a Storekeeper to handle our fabric and trims store located within the factory, ensuring precise, timely, and organized management of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the fabric and trims inventory store.
• Receive, inspect, identify, and properly store all incoming fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Keep detailed and precise records of materials received, issued, returned, or transferred.
• Label, categorize, and store all items to facilitate easy identification and retrieval.
• Distribute fabrics and trims to sampling and production teams based on authorized requisitions.
• Maintain inventory tracking by style and material, monitoring consumption and shortages.
• Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Production, Sampling, and Dyeing departments to meet material demands.
• Ensure correct receipt, identification, and storage of dyed or processed materials.
• Document materials sent outside the factory for dyeing, processing, or other external work.
• Conduct regular physical counts of stock and reconcile these with inventory records.
• Detect and promptly report any discrepancies such as shortages, excess items, or damaged materials.
• Handle delicate, costly, and embellished materials with care and proper storage.
• Maintain a neat and efficient storage environment.
• Support production by guaranteeing timely availability and issuance of required materials.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience managing fabric, trims, or garment accessory stores is preferable.
• Exposure to garment export houses or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Strong skills in inventory management and record maintenance.
• Good understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment accessories.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask material requirements.
• Organized, proactive, and able to respond swiftly to urgent production needs.
• Effective coordination skills across teams.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
• Capability to maintain accurate records in a dynamic production framework.
