Job Overview

We are looking for a diligent and structured Storekeeper to oversee inventory management at our facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Dubai. The role involves handling general and department-specific store duties, including processing receipts, distribution, inventory audits and maintaining meticulous records.

Key Duties

• Manage receipt and issuance of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure all inventory records are continuously updated and accurately maintained.
• Maintain optimal stock levels.
• Implement and monitor a system for stock aging, expiry dates, and forecasting early replenishment needs.
• Uphold top standards of store presentation and organization.
• Provide excellent support and oversight of parts inventory management.
• Maintain and order parts necessary for technician work orders; handle warranty and customer sales parts tagging.
• Develop and uphold a system of inventory control with an emphasis on precision.
• Regularly inspect materials and supplies, reporting any low-stock situations.
• Handle receipt and unpacking of materials accurately.
• Report any damaged or lost items for proper accounting and record-keeping processes.
• Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure all requirements are fulfilled timely.
• Record daily stock receipts and orders meticulously to maintain accurate inventory status.
• Set departmental objectives and strive to achieve them effectively.
• Maintain compliance with department policies regarding purchase orders and inventory codes.
• Coordinate provision of parts to technicians as needed.
• Ensure hygiene standards and implement an organized system for spare parts management for efficient service.
• Assist the store in charge with all store-related operations.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by the store in charge.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Storekeeper in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical maintenance spare parts and tools is essential.
• Experience in general maintenance, spare part arrangement, and inventory control is required.
• Diploma in Electrical or Maintenance Engineering or equivalent high school diploma in a related discipline.
• Proficient use of SAP systems and Microsoft Office suite.
