Store Visual Merchandiser

About the Role

DeFacto invites motivated individuals to join our team as Store Visual Merchandisers in Kenitra, Morocco. This position supports daily store activities to enhance customer experience and uphold brand standards. You will play a key role in visual merchandising, store maintenance, and delivering outstanding service while adhering to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable store presentation, including cleanliness and organization.
• Arrange merchandise per visual display standards, ensuring items are folded, hung, tagged, and sorted by size appropriately.
• Verify accuracy and placement of price tags and product details.
• Monitor inventory on the floor, replenishing missing sizes, colors, and styles from the warehouse.
• Assist in preparations for new store launches and seasonal marketing campaigns.
• Set up promotional displays and visual communications aligned with corporate standards.
• Keep windows, sales areas, fitting rooms, aisles, and stockrooms orderly and accessible.
• Regularly inspect merchandising tools, fixtures, and promotional materials for damages and report issues promptly.
• Participate in special events and promotional activities to support sales initiatives.
• Help receive, unload, tag, organize, and return merchandise as needed.
• Contribute to inventory preparation and count processes.
• Return used products to their correct locations.
• Collaborate with store management to address any visual merchandising or presentation challenges.
• Follow daily operational plans, company policies, and supervisor directions to achieve store goals.
• Support co-workers in maintaining a consistent and appealing shopping environment.
• Provide customers with product information and assist them in finding the right items.
• Work towards achieving sales targets, customer satisfaction, and audit criteria.
• Comply with occupational health, safety, and security procedures.
• Promptly report shortages, damages, operational issues, or safety concerns to management.

Qualifications

• Completed education at high school, academy, or university level.
• Experience working in retail environments preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer focus and understanding of market dynamics.
• Effective relationship and process management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently with a results-driven mindset.
• Adaptability to innovation and commitment to reliability and respect.
• Willingness and availability to travel when required.
