About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee vehicle detailing operations at our facility in Ludhiana, Punjab. The incumbent will ensure a premium customer experience, manage a dedicated team, maintain quality standards, and oversee daily store operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally engage with customers, understand their detailing needs, and offer appropriate service packages including pricing and timelines while addressing their queries and concerns with excellent communication from intake to delivery.
- Lead and coordinate the detailing team, attendants, and support staff by assigning tasks based on workload and skills, monitoring performance and attendance, and ensuring compliance with company safety and operational procedures.
- Conduct thorough final vehicle inspections to verify completion and quality of services, identify defects or missed work, and guarantee vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for handover following company SOPs.
- Provide comprehensive training and development to new and existing staff on detailing techniques, equipment use, SOPs, and customer service standards, including identifying skill gaps for further training.
- Manage daily store functions ensuring all areas—including workshop, customer zone, washrooms, and delivery space—are clean and organized, uphold branding and presentation standards, and maintain equipment appropriately.
- Ensure accurate and updated job cards for all vehicles, track progress from intake to delivery, manage timelines, and obtain customer approval for additional services prior to execution, ensuring software records are precise.
- Oversee stock and inventory including chemicals, consumables, and tools by monitoring usage, maintaining minimum levels, conducting audits, and preventing wastage while submitting inventory reports to management.
- Coordinate daily sales and billing activities, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, monitoring upselling opportunities, and adhering to company policies for vehicle release.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily closing reports covering vehicle status, sales figures, customer feedback, rework issues, staff performance, stock consumption, and highlight any operational challenges requiring attention.
- Enforce strict safety, discipline, and compliance standards including proper handling of chemicals and equipment, maintaining professional conduct, and promptly reporting any accidents or incidents.
